FRATELLI COSULICH SHIP MANAGEMENT, Company of Technical Operational Management of Naval Units, is looking for an experienced Purchasing & Logistic Manager to join the team in Genova.

ACTIVITIES

The PLM is responsible of the purchasing process for LNGBV - Liquified Natural Gas Bunker Vessel - with specific responsibility for processing bid and purchasing materials, responding to related inquiries.

The role entails maintaining vendor/source information and inventories, management and control of onshore warehouse and logistics between it and the LNGBV.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Place purchase and order
  • Follow up of the sale and purchase process of the LNGBV materials
  • Arrange and monitor inbound Shipping & Freight
  • Negotiate and monitor supplier contracts
  • Research alternative products & suppliers
  • Evaluate, setup and approve of purchase policies, major purchase and/or onshore logistical contracts and list of approved vendors
  • Continually improve the list of vendors

REQUIREMENTS

  • + 3ys experience related to purchasing, logistics and contractual management
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Experiences in managing sites at risk of major accident in accordance with Legislative Decree 105/15 (SEVESO)
  • Knowledge of the principles of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement is preferable
